The implication of the discovery is that three-quarters of the universe is made up of an unknown form of energy called dark energy, together with the also unknown dark matter, this makes up about 95% of the universe. 
The remaining 5% is ordinary matter, called baryonic matter, which makes up galaxies, stars, flowers, and human beings.
